Like what character class are you playing? If your character isn't a cleric, druid, paladin, or ranger then you're looking at potions and healing kits when it comes to healing. You have to consider the party dynamics as a whole. let someone else tank and then swoop in from the side for the kill with big, raging 2H damage output. Maybe that's because I've tried to treat them as a tank? I was thinking that a better strategy with them might be to use them in a similar manner to rogues, i.e. I've always had trouble keeping Barbarians alive (AC always seems to be an issue for me).

I was considering doing something similar for a barbarian. Then, she once the attention is off her, she can switch back to her bow, and get back to sneak attacking.ДЄnyway, am I just deluding myself? Or is it actually useful for this kind of thing?

Using parry seems to let her hold the guy off with minimal damage until I can get another character over there to draw that enemy's attention. I'm finding it to be a nice backup plan for when she draws a melee enemy on her. So.sorry, this isn't really on-topic, but I was wondering what folks' opinions were of the Parry skill? I have always ignored it in both NWN1 & 2, but I'm playing through PJ's Tales from the Lake of Sorrows and have been steadily building it up in the rogue companion character.
